Tyla’s A*POP World Tour reached Manchester’s O2 Apollo on October 19, one of the UK stops on a global run supporting the South African singer’s second album.

The tour is a sizeable one — roughly 34 dates spanning the UK, Europe, North America and Africa. It opened in Paris on October 12 and is scheduled to close in Johannesburg on January 9, 2027, a homecoming to end a run that takes amapiano-inflected pop around the world and back. The UK leg alone includes London, Glasgow and Manchester within a single week.

The album behind the tour

A*POP, Tyla’s sophomore album, arrived on July 24, 2026 via FAX/Epic Records — a 14-track set that blends amapiano, pop and R&B and is led by singles including “Chanel” and “She Did It Again” with Zara Larsson. At 24, Tyla has moved quickly from breakout single to global touring artist, and a stadium-to-arena run across four continents is the clearest sign yet of how far that momentum has carried.

A debut single made her a name. A 34-date tour across four continents is what turns a name into a touring act.

A quick note on the timeline

Some of the social posts framed Manchester as the opening night of the UK leg. The published dates tell a slightly different story: London (October 15) and Glasgow (October 18) came first, making Manchester the final UK stop rather than the first. It is a small correction, but the kind worth making — the show happened, the framing just drifted in the retelling.

None of which changes the headline for fans in the north of England: one of pop’s fastest-rising acts played the O2 Apollo, on a tour big enough to prove the hype was not a fluke.
